Monthly Archives: January 2015

This year is going way too fast

Standard

I can’t believe the first month of January is almost over already. All the good habits I planned to adopt during January never really happened. I am putting that down to having the crazy idea that I could make my degree go faster by doing three semesters a year instead of two.

I have an exam in less than two weeks and I am starting to realise that despite having 10 days off over Christmas and New Year I am not feeling relaxed and ready for the year ahead. I probably should have taken the time off. Lesson learnt for next year in more ways than one. Also, I think I haven’t really enjoyed this subject as much as I might have if I didn’t feel so rushed to get everything done in a shorter semester. But who knows – I suspect that Organisational Behaviour is just never going to be my thing.

I have been getting some sewing done. I finally realised that despite how much study I need to get through I need to take brain breaks. So I have been finishing off some projects.

This is what I am working on at the moment – paper pieced hexagons. A decent size so it goes together fast. I just need to attach one more section and then do something about the borders. I am thinking a green leaf pattern fabric.
